As a nurse midwife, you will learn to provide women with holistic health care from adolescence through menopause, with a special focus on pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. You will also be trained to recognize and evaluate complications that might require higher-level care from obstetricians and maternal-fetal medicine specialists. Your experience will begin in a clinical setting where you’ll be exposed to real-world learning and first-rate experiences with expert preceptors. Then, you will graduate with the confidence and skills to take on your own practice.
